Bermuda!!!!!!
We had a big NJ wedding in the works, and soon into the planning, it went from "wedding" to "circus." I was not excited at all about getting married anymore, and really just wanted to call the entire thing off. Bryan, being the more rational one, suggested destination, specifically Bermuda.
I had never been to Bermuda, and even though he promised me it was one of the most beautiful places he's ever been, I still insisted on seeing it myself. So, I scored myself a little mini vacation. Within 10 minutes of being in the country, I knew, this was the place.
Here's a few reasons we love Bermuda:
1. Its a 1.5 hour flight.
2. We can cruise there from home.
3. Rum Swizzle
4. US Dollar = $1, and is widely accepted.
5. Everyone speaks English.
6. There is something for EVERYONE to do.
7. No street vendors hassling you to buy their crap
8. Mopeds!!!
9. Its been surviving hurricanes for 500yrs. It can hold up against our wedding.
10. The avg. temp. in May is 75* and the avg. monthly rainfall is 2"
11. Most people would never choose to go there on their own.
12. The beaches are pink. PINK.
13. The water is turquoise. And crystal clear.
We're getting married at Coco Reef Resort on the South Shore of Bermuda.

This is our ceremony spot. We didnt want to get married ON the beach, but we definitely wanted it as a backdrop. As soon as we walked up the lawn, we KNEW it was our spot. We're going to set it up just like this picture. White chairs for our guests, and us. Nothing fancy.

Norwegian Gem
We're traveling to Bermuda with about 30 of our guests, on the Norwegian Gem. Its a 7 day cruise, that is docked in Bermuda for 3 days. Its like 2 vacations in one!
